ECCOMAS is pleased to inform you about the CISM course “COMPUTATIONAL MECHANICS FOR NOVEL DESIGNS OF ADVANCED MATERIALS” coordinated by Michele Marino and Jörg Schröder, which takes place in Udine, Italy, from 4.-9. October 2021.
Due to the current COVID situation, the course will be held in a hybrid format. If travel restrictions are imposed or security does not appear to be assured, we will adapt the program and media for a full online format.
This course accounts for all doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in engineering, material sciences and physics as well as industrial researchers, which are interested in the constitutive modeling of multiphysical and/or multiscale response of materials. The course focuses materials for modern engineering demands, spanning from metamaterials, through smart hydrogels and magneto-mechanically coupled composites to MEMS.
